gestern hat mich eine wichtig aufgemachte E-Mail mit dem Betreff:
World of Warcraft - Account Under Review
erreicht.
Absender ist angeblich die Adresse wowaccountadmin <wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com>. Sieht "hochoffiziell" aus. Schaut man jedoch genauer hin, stellt man fest, dass die Antworten auf diese Mail an die Adresse wowaccountadmim@vip.163.com geschickt werden sollen. Sehr verdächtig.
Schaut man sich jetzt noch den Text der Mail an, wird schnell klar, dass es sich hier um eine sog. "Phishing-Mail" handelt. Sprich: der Absender versucht, Account Daten von arglosen WoW-Spielern (oder wie in meinem Fall Ex-Spielern) zu ergaunern.
Wenn Ihr eine solche Mail erhaltet, reagiert bitte auf gar keinen Fall und schickt keinerlei Daten zurück! Auch keine simple Antwort. Denn das würde dem Spam-Versender sagen, dass Ihr einen Account habt und das Eure Mail Adresse aktiv genutzt wird. Kopiert den Inhalt der Mail (wenn möglich mit Headern) und sendet Sie an den Blizzard Support, damit die Jungs dort alle Anstrengungen unternehmen, um den Bösewichten das Handwerk zu legen.

If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard Entertainment's employees.
If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account ownership. If the information is deemed accurate, the investigation will be dropped.
This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these sales
quite seriously. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
